Dr. Phobe Abe is a General Practitioner whom I met a couple of years back when I took my mother for her check-up at a new Health Centre shortly after moving to London.

This widower not only excel’s in her career but has also considerably contributed to charity work for the past 10 years. Dr, Abe belongs to this Acholi Tribe in Uganda. She set up the Uganda Trust Association to help the Acholi Tribe provide basic amenities. In order to raise funds for her charity she decided to start singing professionally. She also works with ladies who have an obesity and depression problems and uses her music to combat these issues. Her first album is called ‘Acholi Renaissance’.

Dr. Abe treats me like she is giving advise to her own daughter, Her wise words give me strength and always put a smile on my face. Her healing presence provides therapy for my soul.
We were delighted to receive a performance form Dr. Abe at the end of the photo shoot, where she sang a song that she wrote for Obama last year. Her encouraging lyrics about change were illustrated with her great passion.

Now she is in the middle of her second album called ‘Tributes’ – this includes song written for Oprah and Mandela.
