Women usually are much more talented and trained to look after themselves and maintain their grooming rituals, however I want to tell you about my best friend, he is the perfect example of personal grooming for all those men out there. Recently he approached me and asked me to help him with some styling, wanting a wardrobe face-lift especially for his evening out with the ladies. Upon visiting his home I saw a whole section and collection of grooming goodies. Embrace yourself as I enlighten you to his grooming routine that he revealed to me:- relaxing massages in Malaysia to his hair immaculate and cut religiously every 5th day. Manicured and pedicured, not to forget a bit of eyebrow threading; his aftershave and cologne collections, his daily creams and his designer creams that he used when he meets his ladies; he works out minimum three times a week, incredible hulk muscles, sauna-ed, steamed and Jacuzzi to conclude; I must say he has the best skin and glowing complexion on a man that I’ve come across in along time. 10/10 for hygiene and cleanliness. To add he has a fabulous shoe collection!
I especially want to highlight teeth in your grooming section, and yes the secret of grooming is to have clean and healthy white teeth. Smile is confidence and can attract anyone with a smile; get you that job promotion or even your future partner.
I adore my best friend because he really takes pride in his appearance. I can confirm and he is not gay but a typical metro sexual male!! He is not too keen on this word however his behaviour and attention to detail itself states nothing but perfection. If he can do it we all can aim for such grooming perfection. We all need to maintain our looks, health and aesthetics, which will promote confidence and enhance our personality.

Victoria & Albert Museum
Victoria & Albert (V&A) is the champion of Museums. Centered in the heart of London, the most famous landmark in South Kensington. Its truly one of my most favorite places because a place of creativity, excitement and imagination.
Upon entrance of the V&A you are greeted by a beautiful Italian maruno coloured glass chandelier. This spectaular design enjoys attention resembling twisted spirals bright and vibrant in blue aqua and greens colours of the ocean.
I find it like a labyrinth; but one that I care to lose myself in every time. Each time my eye catches something it didn’t absorb the first time. Victoria and Albert (V&A) displays hugely successful exhibitions and events, opening spectacular new galleries and facilities, working nationally and internationally, and making their collections more accessible than ever before. Admission to the V&A is free however some exhibitions and events carry a separate charge. You can join short courses, day activities or even join membership and enjoy benefits of exclusive exhibitions.
Also the V&A proudly engages in education for children and really does promote, support and develop creation. I myself am attending Desi Fashion: British Asian Style on Friday 26 June 2009. Where I have been invited to attend and continue discussion on influence of culture and heritage through British Asian fashion and clothing, ie Banghra to Bolloywood.
A truly magnificent and grand museum where one can enjoy a walk through the past or discover modern artists each which captivate our desire to learn more.
Sari Sublime
What do Liz Hurley, Shilpa Setty and Indra Gandhi have in common? Well they all look gorgeous wearing the sari.
A sari is a female garment in the Indian subcontinent. A strip of unstitched cloth, ranging from four to nine meters in length that is draped over the body in various styles. The sari is usually worn over a petticoat with a blouse known as a choli forming the upper garment.
The most common style is for the sari to be wrapped around the waist, pleats are tucked into the waistband of the petticoat; they create a graceful, decorative effect, which poets have likened to the petals of a flower. To end drape over the shoulder baring the midriff.
The variety of sari’s is unlimited, all patterns, colours and styles. The dressy saris are usually more detailed with a lot of embellishments, intricate designs, embroidery, mirror work to Swarovski crystals on vibrant colours and beautiful fabrics and that may be worn on special occasions.
