“Mere colour, unspoiled by meaning, and unallied with definite form, can speak to the soul in a thousand different ways.” Oscar Wild
When we think of our favourite colour it gives us a feeling and creates a mood. Colors are connections of the soul and can be used to enhance and express our emotions, personality and style. Therefore choosing the right colour is absolutely vital when making that first impression.
Colour is a powerful styling tool and we all need to be styled individually. There are particular colors for each of us that will compliment more than others. This is determined according to our skin tone, eye and hair colour. Wearing correct colours can make you look younger, vibrant and even help diminish wrinkles and dark circles. Why not have a ‘colour analysis’ - a sophisticated way of determining your colour palette and the combination of colours that work best for you and your skin tone. Discover new colours and how to wear them in your outfits, find confidence and be adventurous with your styling choices.
When you look good you will feel good, the most important part of colour is that you feel connected to yourself and what you do. So have more fun and experiment with your outfits. With this recession we see a colour progression. This seasons collection we can see a lots of colour hitting our stores. Trends are brighter, block and acidic colours, why not choose a colour that suits you this spring.
The aim of colour is to create balance, harmonise and aesthetically look pleasant to the eye. Enhance your colours with correct accessories, jewellery, make-up and hairstyle.
Remember to wear of colors that will enhance your features and suit your personality!!

The Serpentine Gallery

Located in Kensingston Gardens, The Serpentine to me is one of London’s best-loved galleries for modern and contemporary arts. Open seven days a week and admission is free; it is estimated to attract 800,000 visitors in one year.
I invited my friend Huma to view the ‘Indian Highway’ exhibition. The Indian Highway reflects on emerging global economies and features India’s most innovative artists and cultural practitioners and embraces art, architecture, film, literature, dance and music.
Exhibiting were 21 artists from India, I found their work to be vibrant and alive. Dayanita Singh really capturing India at night and Indian highway a timely presentationatoim, of the remarkable rapid growth, social and ecumenical developments in India in recent years.
Another artist I wanted to applaud is M.F. Husain, he is one of India’s most respected artists, born in (1915), how one can think, imagine and conceive concepts such as religion, history and culture.
Why not join The Serpentine - Parton Scheme where you receive a range of benefits from first viewings and priority purchasing the unique art collections before anyone gets their hand on them. Each year the Serpentine hosts a summer celerity party, a really wonderful occasion and celebrations of the gallery’s greatness throughout the year. Being a patron means that you can get your tickets early and guaranteed. Please contact Louise M’Kinnen – 0207 298 1546 for further details on how to become a Patron.
Involved with educational programmes for young people, The Serpentine holds many lectures and training throughout the year. I was particularly impressed by the culture promotion and social inclusion multi-cultural projects within communities.
Do visit March’s Exhibition: Rebecca Warren lives and works in London. Her work is mainly clay sculptures. She was nominated for the Turner Prize 2006 at Tate Britain and Vincent Award 2008 at Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam.
