Celebrity Style - Anami Gour

This feature of Celebrity Style is to highlight ‘Moguls’ in their field of work.  

Early this year I was introduced to Anami Gour, Chief in Editor of BEE Magazine.  BEE Magazine was looking to launch in April and wanted Style Moguls to be involved with the magazine styling and photography for an article based on Sheetal Mehta.

However speaking with Anami I discovered he was a hidden gem.  Anami born in Jaipur, India.  A graduate in medicine from SMS Medical College, India and further a MD in Pediatrics.   Later came to London and studied MRCP- Royal College of Physians. Currently his main role as a Consultant Pediatrician at the St Georges Hospital is where he spends most of his time working in the Intensive Critical Care Unit.

Anami is indeed one of the most hardworking paediatricians by day and everything creative the rest of the time. Amani cultivated his creativity by studying Visual Art at Central St Martin College of Arts, London School of Journalism and has worked for BBC World Service Radio documentary in London.  His love and experience for the visual arts also converted him into a producer of Goodshot Films, which is based in London.  How many jobs does this man want I asked myself?  

His recent project involvement is Editor in Chief for BEE Magazine, an intellectual woman’s magazine in the United Kingdom.  So I was delighted to attend the launch of BEE Magazine at the House of Lords on the 21st April 2009.
